FICS
Family International Community Services is a private, charitable association consisting of full-time volunteers from many nationalities who are dedicated to improving the quality of life for all members of the community, particularly those who are disadvantaged.
Our goal is to invest in the lives of children, youth and parents today in order to help build the leaders of the future. Working side-by-side with international and local community partners, we develop and build community capacity and provide services for sustainable social development.
Family International Community Services is registered in Jordan as an association with the Ministry of Social Development, Registration No. 1832, under the Associations Law No. 51, article 9.

Early Learning Seminar
On Monday, the 30th of August Ms. Theophany Kelly will present an Early Learning seminar on the topics of Sight Reading and Encyclopedic Knowledge for the teachers of 2 private KG's in the Abdoun Area. The course targets the needs of young children 0 - 6 years of age.Ramadan Tent
During the Holy Month of Ramadan, FICS is initiating a new project, of an indoor Ramadan Tent. We are targeting a different group of children and families for each event. The Ramdan Tent includes; a special iftar meal, entertainment, activities, gifts for the children, face-painting and balloon sculpting, and an Arabic Theatre play.Ramadan Kitchen Project
Ramadan Kitchen 2010 was launched in July. This year volunteers will team up again to distribute food to people in need. This project could use more volunteers, if you are interested please call Khalid at: 0777 226855.Maktabati Update

Action Committee
A group of local volunteers that are affiliated with FICS. Action Committee is devoted to implementing at least one project a month for the benefit of the community.
